Ask Not For Referrals

Referral programs of all types seem to be something that so many businesses wish they could improve upon. As I started pondering the idea of how various referral programs could be improved upon, I started wondering how often I actually refer my friends and family to businesses that I trust. The sad truth was…. not often. I then had one of those ‘Man in the mirror’ moments where I realized that I was not doing my part in connecting businesses with potential clients. Do you suffer from this same syndrome? Are you missing opportunities to help other businesses that you trust? Maybe the key to GETTING more referrals is GIVING more referrals. Kind of Zen, heh?
